Take I-75 North to I-70 West to exit # 24, State Route 49 North. Go approximately 25 miles. The Fairgrounds will be on your left approximately 2 miles north of the State Route 127 exit.
from Columbus
Take I-70 West to exit # 24, State Route 49 North. Go approximately 25 miles.

from Lima
Take I-75 South to exit # 110, State Route 33 West to State Route 29 West to Celina. Then follow State Route 127 South approximatley 30 miles to the State Route 49 North exit at Greenville. The Fairgrounds will be on your left approximately 2 miles north of the State Route 127 exit.
from Richmond, IN
Take State Route 121 North approximately 25 miles to Greenville.
The Fairgrounds will be on your right as you enter the city limits across from the Brethren Home.
Fair Gate Entrance Information:
GATE #1: Sweitzer (State Route 49) & Birt Street Intersection – Properly marked motor vehicles for Fair Employees, Fair Vendors and Southend Campers. Walkin-In foot traffic entrance only.
NEW IN 2014: The Darke County Fair Safety committee announced a major safety improvement for Gate #1 concerning pedestrians crossing Sweitzer Street. This was a collaborative effort between the Darke County Sheriffs Office, Darke County Fair Safety Committee, ODOT and The City of Greenville in order to make the Fair as safe as possible. Beginning the Thursday before the annual Fair begins, a new safety zone will be erected and will remain in place until the Monday after the annual Fair concludes. Here are the list of the changes:
1. A temporary crosswalk will be installed across Sweitzer Street/State Route 49 from the walking lane of Gate #1 to the East side of Sweitzer Street.
2. All vehicles leaving Gate #1 will be required to make a right turn onto Sweitzer Street. The southbound lane of Sweitzer Street will be dedicated to this.
3. A crosswalk will be painted to cross Birt Street at Sweitzer Street.
4. The West bound lane of Birt Street will be closed from Central Avenue to Sweitzer Street.
5. The Eastbound lane of Birt Street will only be accessible from the northbound lane of Sweitzer Street.
6. Central Avenue will be No Parking from Birt Street to Fair Street.
We would like to remind all motorist and pedestrians to use extreme caution while traveling in and around the Fairgrounds during The Great Darke County Fair.
GATE #2: Sweitzer (State Route 49) & Fair Street Intersection – Properly marked motor vehicles for Fair Employees, Fair Vendors and Northend Campers. Walkin-In foot traffic entrance only. NOTE: There is limited motorcycle parking just outside of this gate area.
GATE #3: Martz Street (North entrance) – Properly marked motor vehicles for Fair Employees, Fair Vendors Fair Exhibitors and Northend Campers. Walkin-In foot traffic entrance only.
GATE 4: State Route 121 North Entrance – Properly marked motor vehicles for Fair Employees, Fair Vendors Fair Exhibitors and Northend Campers. Walkin-In foot traffic entrance only.
GATE #5: State Route 121 South Entrance – Free public parking (motorcycle included), Infield Event (Tractor Pull, Demolition Derby), Southend Campers, eqine exhibitor entrance.
NOTE: All Fair time deliveries (FedEx, UPS, ect.) need to be delivered to GATE # 5.
GATE #6: Eidson Road (South entrance) – Free public parking, handicapped parking, (motorcycle included), Southend Campers, equine exhibitor entrance.
